Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Naruvamood had its humble beginning in June 1983, at Govindamangalam. Since its inception at Naruvamood in 1995 , which spreads over 3.5 acres of land ,stands high with splendid educational approach and pure spirituality together build up into a world class infrastructure and a peaceful lush green campus.
Chinmaya Vidyalaya Naruvamood is a Co-Ed institution, affiliated with CBSE from Pre school – Senior Secondary. We provide good quality modern education. Our intense monitoring and assessment system together with remediation program ensure high academic achievement across the curriculum. Our students become academic pushers at the global frontiers of research for which their schooling has equipped them with essential skills and values of life.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya has a Physics Lab with all the necessary instruments required for both the Secondary and Senior Secondary sections. Our lab can be utilized by more than 30 students at a time. The Lab provides for all equipments.
Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Thiruvananthapuram Library is rich with 4654 books including Fiction,Non Fiction and Reference Books. Apart from these we have Periodicals and Newspapers.
